7’ in the rose reading room

Is there music to be found in the relationships/differences between time and rhythm?

The score for this piece is in two parts: a field recording made in the Rose Reading Room at the New York Public Library.

The second part is a set of instructions, guiding performers to notice the musical elements of the recording and ‘embody’ them on their intrument.
